Why did you start this comic?

One day I was sitting in class bored and was like: Hey! I should make a webcomic, and so I started drawing things out.

It also serves as a way for me to look at the positives in life even when times are rough

Why is it called The Optimistik Student?

I wanted this comic to show the life of a student and to spread optimism in my comics. I wanted to misspell it somewhere so that it stands out more and is easily searchable and ended up deciding on using a K in optimistic.

Why do you draw stick figures?

This is partly inspired by xkcd and also because I am a busy student so the simplistic drawings make it easier for me to keep up with my posting schedule and school work.

What other forms of social media do you have for this comic?

Currently it's there's this blog

And my Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/theoptimistikstudent .

I also have an Instagram Account: https://www.instagram.com/theoptimistikstudent/

When did you start doing digital art?

When did this webcomic start again? Well whenever that was

What are you using to draw your comics?

I use Pixlr (No I am not sponsored by them, but I would highly recommend it to others!) on my laptop to draw all my comics! It's a free online photo editor similar to photoshop! I started with Pixlr X but I found Pixlr E to be easier to use as my drawing style progressed. I might switch to Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop so that my work can all be saved on my laptop. Although... I should really get a tablet or something so that I don't have to use a trackpad and mouse to draw... One day I will do that... But not today...
